Having benefitted from Carol’s EFT in previous family crisis situations – therapy first aid as it were – I really only appreciated her skill and professionalism after several sessions dealing with my low level depression/hoarding behavior. I was actually somewhat embarrassed to be paralyzed by seemingly trivial issues, but Carol’s masterful use of EFT nosed out the significant underlying issues.

As we tapped she was quick to spot relevant insights as they arose and to follow up with more tapping. Suddenly a sense of order emerged from the previously chaotic jumble! She was prepared with tissue if the path led to tears, but we ended up with much laughter and joyous release.

Carol conveys a warm aura of empathy, creating a safe therapeutic environment.  She is clearly intuitive, but what makes her an outstanding therapist is her mastery of EFT.
Her knowledge streamlines the process of sorting out core issues.

She starts a session with an attitude of eager anticipation, prods gently, and is genuinely excited by the discoveries as they emerge.  Throughout the process she guides but does not lead, so that I was able to feel (and know) that the insights were my own accomplishment.

What makes Carol such an outstanding therapist is that she has the very justified self-confidence based on her many years of experience with this effective method; she has the empathy and intelligence to make the most of the results of tapping; and she has an amazingly generous spirit which shows in the delight she takes in her clients’ breakthroughs.

Carol Bemmels presented a program on Tapping in July 2015 at the Alburgh Public Library. The attendance for this program was phenomenal! Her presentation was very engaging, easy to understand and personalized to all who attended…. Months after her program we have library patrons stopping by to let staff know what a difference Tapping has made in their lives!

The Hopewell Public Library had an overwhelming response to Carol Bemmels’ talk and demonstration …. All were amazed how easy it was and the entire group raised their hands when she asked if they could feel stress relief after just a few tries. Carol’s personality is so warm and welcoming that everyone felt a personal connection with her…. We look forward to the opportunity to host Carol again and share her amazing Tapping Therapy with our community

Carol Bemmels has introduced and trained domestic violence advocates on the Emotional Freedom Technique and how it may be used with traumatized victims of domestic violence and their families. Carol has shared her considerable experience and knowledge on the uses and effectiveness of EFT with staff of domestic violence programs, child protection advocates and community members who attend our training events.

Each training ends with a participant evaluation of both the trainer and workshop content. In both areas participants have rated Carol presentations as excellent. I would highly recommend Carol as an EFT trainer for all populations working with those experiencing trauma or who wish to use this highly effective form of self-help for themselves.

The New Jersey Coalition to End Domestic Violence

When I first started my sessions, I was filled with so much anxiety, fear and despair. That was only a few months ago, but it feels like a lifetime ago…I have come such a long way.

I was familiar with EFT before, doing it on occasion by myself, but having reached my lowest of lows, it was clear I needed to work with a professional. Your guidance through this journey was phenomenal. There were times when facing a new layer of my past trauma–that my body could no longer suppress–would feel like the whole world was caving in on me. There was no way I was going to live a life free of anxiety. The pain was too deep and too strong to imagine it ever leaving. But then every week I would finish our session feeling hopeful, as you helped me unfold this incredible inner strength.

My only goal with EFT was to become anxiety free. But what a tremendous and unexpected gift I received! For the first time in my 43 years of life, I now recognize my true and precious value as a human being! After a lifetime of brokenness, I’m finding that I instinctively see myself as a beautiful person. I do not question it, or try to talk myself into it. It just feels like a fact. Because lo and behold…I AM a beautiful person! Mind, body and spirit. And I thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me to discover that.
